FasterChecks is a portfolio medical services and technology company registered in the United Kingdom that has partnered with Aeromedical Consulting UK, a provider of medical services to the aviation industry, to create FasterChecks. The application was developed by Noorisys Technologies, a technology company with an international portfolio and experience of developing medical and e-commerce applications.
The FasterChecks application (“App”) is a cross-industry digital passport that allows the real-time verification of COVID-related credentials such as a COVID test result, a passenger locator form, a health declaration and vaccination status on your mobile device.
We are committed to maintaining your privacy and protecting your Personal Information which will be used only for the specific purposes for which you entrust us with this information. Protecting your privacy is fundamental to how we conduct our business and we take this commitment to you very seriously.
FasterChecks (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) does not collect any Personal Information when you visit any of FasterChecks digital media channels unless you choose to provide that information to us.
This Policy contains details about what Personal Information we collect about you, how we collect it, why we collect it and how we use it when you interact with us through your use of the App. Please read this Policy carefully in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions, also published on the App and website.
We may update this Policy from time to time and without notice. Please check this Policy periodically for updates to ensure they continue to remain acceptable to you. When required under applicable law, we will notify you of any changes to this Policy by posting an update on our website. When required under applicable law, we will seek your consent before making material changes to the way we manage your Personal Information. Personal Information will continue to be used in a manner that is consistent with the version of this Policy under which it was collected.
We collect the information you provide to us directly. You do not have to provide any Personal Information to visit the FasterChecks website. If you choose to provide us with any Personal Information such as sending a message to an email address on this website, filling out a form and submitting it through our website, we will use that information to respond to your message or to fulfil the stated purpose of the communication. We will maintain any information you provide in accordance with applicable local laws. FasterChecks will not disclose, give, sell, or transfer any personal information about visitors to our websites, unless required by law enforcement or by statute. We automatically collect technical information about your interactions with us (such as IP address, mobile device ID, and browsing preferences).
If you choose to perform a FasterChecks, we will ask for any or all of the following information:
- 1. Identifiers, such as your name, email address and mobile phone number or other similar identifiers.
- 2. Travel Details, such as your departure and arrival destination, flight details or other similar details.
- 3. Protected Class and Demographic information, such as age, race, gender, nationality, and health information if you a perform a COVID-test arranged by us.
- 4. Photo-verification, such as a national ID card or passport or other similar identifier.
- 5. Health Information, such as your COVID test certificate, your COVID health declaration or vaccination status declaration.
If you choose to provide us with information, we may use that information to contact you, respond to your message, or provide you the information or services you requested. In order to serve you better, we may analyse multiple sources of data you have provided (for example, to look up whether you previously contacted FasterChecks about the same topic so that we do not send you a duplicative response). We may also use messages or comments collected through FasterChecks site, Apps, or official social media pages for our own purposes, such as to inform policy decisions or in public advocacy.
We may use data you provide and automatically generated data for statistical analysis to assess, for example, what information is of interest to users, technical design specifications, and system performance.
We collect, process, store and disclose information for the following purposes:
- 1. to perform a FasterChecks.
- 2. to create a FasterChecks user account.
- 3. to enable you to access and use our website and associated applications.
- 4. to contact and communicate with you about your FasterChecks user account or support enquiries.
- 5. for internal record keeping and administrative purposes.
- 6. to comply with our legal obligations and resolve any disputes that we may have.
- 7. For any other purpose for which you provide consent.
We process information according to the law. We are transparent and collect and process information about you only when:
- 1. it’s necessary for us to provide you the results of a FasterChecks or to administer your FasterChecks account;
- 2. it satisfies a legitimate interest, such to improve our website or to protect our legal rights and interests;
- 3. you give us consent to do so for a specific purpose (e.g.. entering your email address so we can contact you regarding your account); or
- 4. we need to process your data to comply with a legal obligation.
We retain information for our records and to facilitate support if required. Whilst we retain this information, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorised access. We however advise that no method of electronic transmission or data storage is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute data security.
We do not trade, sell or rent your information to any third parties. FasterChecks is a COVID-19 verification service. Where you perform a FasterChecks verification on the request of a third party you are consenting for us to share the outcome of that verification to that third party. This means we will share the results of the verification and related information to that third party unless you instruct us not to.
We will comply with government and law enforcement requests for data, as required by law, in connection with any actual or prospective legal proceedings, or in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights. Our site is supported by third-party providers to facilitate the provision of services. These include web hosting providers and Google Analytics. We require such service providers to contractually commit to protect the security and confidentiality of information they process on our behalf.
The data we process may be processed in a number of locations. The location the processing takes place depends on a variety of factors and may include locations outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. No matter where your data is collected, processed or stored, the same levels of security and data protection are maintained at all times. By providing us with your Personal Information, you consent to your data being processed in locations that may be outside of the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area.
We maintain reasonable security procedures and technical and organizational measures to protect your Personal Information against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, disclosure, alteration, or use.
We will retain your Personal Information for no longer than is necessary to enable you to use the App or website, after which we will take steps to securely and permanently disclose of your Personal Information, according to applicable laws and regulations.
The FasterChecks App and website are intended for use by individuals 18 years of age or older. Parents or guardians may use the App or website to support a FasterChecks COVID verification for an individual under the age of 18 years, where such a verification is legally required by the authorities.
We will comply with laws applicable to us in respect of any data breach.
You are free to refuse our request for information with the understanding that we will not be able to provide a FasterChecks service.
You may also choose to restrict the collection of your Personal Information by contacting us and informing us of your request. This may impact our ability to provide you a FasterChecks verification.
